A “Prelude to developer” diary was released on May 15, 2009. The developers confirmed that the combat system has been upgraded, with everything from the feel of the combat and the A.I. being improved, including realistic damage modeling and downed enemies still continuing to crawl and fight. the existence of new alien races and an attack by one race on Citadel-controlled space, wearing armor with an “M1″ logo painted on it and seeming to control similarly-armored varren, a race of non-sapient animals similar to dogs.

Mass Effect 2 also features regenerating health as its primary health mechanic, instead of being able to heal with “medi-gel” as in the first game. In addition, the overheat system for weapons has been replaced with collectible heat sinks. This system is functionally identical to the ammunition systems in other third-person shooters, but instead of having different ammunition types for different weapons, the heat sinks are universal across all standard weapons.

The characters in Mass Effect 2 will be more detailed not only graphically, but technically. In the original Mass Effect, Commander Shepard only had 20 animations for cover, while in Mass Effect 2, the character has over 200. The world will also be more open-ended in this installment; uncharted worlds the player could only explore for “cheap thrills” will now be more detailed and have more to explore.

The camera positioning for conversations with A.I. characters has also been improved, the previously static camera now moving around to provide “a much needed cinematic touch.Another new feature during conversations are context-sensitive controls; as shown in a conversation with scientist Mordin, Shepard is able to interrupt the dialogue with aggressive tactics when prompted with the on-screen controls.

The M35 Mako will no longer be available for planetary exploration, likely due to criticism of the Mako’s poor gameplay sections in the first game. Instead, a Kodiak drop shuttle, which you cannot directly pilot, will deposit the player on foot into areas of immediate interest.

Unlike Mass Effect, in which there were four weapon types, there are now nineteen different weapons types and the pistol has been broken up into the heavy pistol and the machine pistol. The grenades from the first game do not make a reappearance, but have been replaced by the new heavy weapons. Sub-machine guns are shown to be another new weapon class added to the game. Characters are now able to use any weapon their class is trained for at full effect, meaning the player is no longer required to or able to invest in weapon skills. Armor skills have also been removed, and there are no longer class restrictions on armor.

2.Viewing Angles-The viewing angle in LCDs are increasing Plasma TVs wins in this context.

Well it is the actually a ratio. TV manufactures often promise that their TVs have 1000:1 contrast ratio.

It simply means that the whitest white is 1000 times whiter than the darkest dark.

So plasma TVs are better at creating  darkest blacks. So  plasma is the winner. LCDs mostly create a grey type color.

4.Room Lighting- The LCDs are better of rooms well  lit . Where as plasmas are better, if the room is dimly lit.

5.Gaming-When used with a computer and for playing games LCDs are better, due to the fact that LCD TVs have denser pixels in them.

So all in all LCds win as they are cheap and are efficient along with a computer.

The eclipse started at the Central African Republic, traverses Cameroon, Congo and Uganda, passes through Nairobi, Kenya, and enters the Indian Ocean and reaches its greatest eclipse.

After that it enters Maldives, where it would be the longest on land with 10.8 minutes of viewing. This makes the tiny islands of Maldives the best spot for viewing this eclipse from land. The annular Eclipse at Male’, the capital city of Maldives starts at 12:20:20 hrs and ends 12:30:06 hrs Maldives local time (UTC+5). This is also the longest duration of any city having an international airport in the eclipse track.^[3]

At approx 13:20 IST, the annular solar eclipse enters India at Thiruvananthapuram(Trivandrum), Kerala and exits India at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. The eclipse is viewable for 10.4 minutes in India. After Rameswaram, it enters Sri Lanka at Delft Island, exits at Jaffna in Sri Lanka, crosses the Bay of Bengal and re-enters India in Mizorum, to end on the in Sino-Burmese border.

Thiruvananthapuram city, which is the entry point of the eclipse in India, is equipped with telescopes and announced facilities for the public to view the eclipse.^[4] Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, situated in Trivandrum, is analysing the atmospheric-ionospheric parameters during the eclipse.^[5] Many scientists have camped in the city to witness and study the eclipse.^[6]

At Manila, Philippines, the eclipse was started at 3:49 PM Philippine Standard Time/PST. The maximum eclipse was at 4:53 PM. The eclipse was ended at 5:51 PM

Dhanushkodi, which falls on the central line of the Eclipse is a good place to view the eclipse. The northern most limit of shadow in India is Cuddalore, Neyveli, Erode, Kodaikanal, Madurai. Other best locations in Tamil Nadu: Thoothukudi and Cape Comorin which lies 22 km north of Central line. The only means of reaching Dhanushkodi or kodandaramar temple is by ST bus or automobile from Rameswaram and for Dhanushkodi after the road’s end it is only by fish carts or 4×4 SUVs. Permission is required for entering the Dhanushkodi ruins from the coast guard post as that area is 10 km from the Sri Lankan coast. The centre line passes some 2 km east of the Kodandaramar Temple. The exact location is between NH end and the Dhanushkodi ruins. Dhanushkodi is about 2 km east of the central line. The degree difference is about 0.2 between the Central line – Kodandaramar Temple and Dhanushkodi ruins vice versa. Dhanushkodi is about 5 km from the Kodandaramar Temple.

At around the same time, the eclipse was visible over northwest Sri Lanka.
